IU has once again received an international recognition for her works.
On March 8th, 'The New York Times Magazine' featured the singer-songwriter on the '25 Songs That Tell Us Where Music is Going.' IU was featured along with other world-famous singers, including Lana Del Rey, Taylor Swift, and more.
The editor, Lindsey Weber, referred IU's 'Palette' as 'a declaration of womanhood, K-pop-style.' She pointed out how IU's 'Palette' is relatable to every girl's real life, in which being 25 is all exciting but difficult at the same time.
In the article, IU's 'Palette' was also compared to Britney Spears' 'Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman,' which tells a story how a girl is going through the age-old ritual of defining her womanhood.
