Fans Shocked at Wanna One`s First `Unfair` Pay Distribution

Fans Shocked at Wanna One`s First `Unfair` Pay Distribution

The K-pop : SBS Plus

Wanna One members have received their first payment, but fans hardly believe its distribution.

It was reported that each agency has received KRW 150 million (approximately USD 133,000), regardless of the number of personnel. This means that members coming alone from their agency will receive more, compared to the members who have labelmate in Wanna One.

Individual trainee Kim Jaehwan took home the highest first payment, receiving all the payment, as he does not need to divide the earnings with any agency. Hwang Minhyun, Lai Kuanlin, Park Jihoon, Bae Jinyoung, Ha Sungwoon, and Ong Seongwu reportedly split the pay with their agency, meaning each of them took home KRW 75 million (approximately USD 67,000).

Kang Daniel and Yoon Jisung from MMO Entertainment, as well as Lee Daehwi and Park Woojin from Brand New Music took home the least. They split the pay with the agency, and the remaining KRW 75 million was divided into two for each member, resulting one member only take home KRW 37.5 million (approximately USD 33,600).

What do you think about this issue, people
