Agency of This Rookie Idol has Their Very "Unique" Marketing Strategy, Fans are Not Really Sure How to React

They are different from others.

It's not a secret that K-pop is a very competitive industry with hundreds of singers/groups make their debut and thousands of songs are released every year. As a result, new artists strive for recognition. Trying new concepts and showing different talents (such as ballet, acrobatics, etc.) are two of the ways we have often seen to date. However, this one group has brought a very new strategy to the market. 

They are boy group OnlyOneOf from RSVP Entertainment. OnlyOneOf consists of 7 members, including KB, Love, Rie, Yoojung, Junji, Mill, and Nine.

The agency announced that the group will release double title tracks 'Time Leap' and 'Savanna' at 6 P.M KST today. However, the group's debut album will not be released unless the group got a certain number of hashtag #OnlyOneOf on Twitter. There will be a total of six songs in the album and the four tracks (excluding the double title tracks) will be released when the group surpasses 22 thousand hashtags -- one song will be released every time the group receives 5,555 hashtags.

On top of that, the physical album will also not available for purchase unless all of their songs released i.e. surpassing 22 thousand hashtags.
