While no detail reasons revealed about his retirement from his position as an anchor on 'News Room,' many believe that he has decided to step down from his position as an anchor on 'News Room' after the news show made a false report on BTS, stating that the members had been considering taking legal action against their agency, Big Hit Entertainment, for issues related to profit division. Big Hit Entertainment denied the report and fans have been expressing anger to JTBC.
